Astrology Transits

Transits show how the current sky activates your natal chart. They are timing signals that you read by planet, aspect, and house.

What is a transit?

A transit happens when a moving planet forms an aspect to a point in your birth chart, like a planet, angle, or house cusp. It shows what is active now.

Transits work best when you read the transiting planet (what energy), the aspect (how it connects), and the house (where it shows up).

How to read a transit

1

Start with your natal chart

Your birth chart is the baseline for every transit.

2

Identify the transiting planet

This is the energy arriving or pressing on you.

3

Find the natal target

Note the planet, angle, or house being activated.

4

Name the aspect

Conjunction, square, trine, or opposition tells you the relationship.

5

Track the timing

Applying builds, exact peaks, separating integrates, and retrogrades revisit.

Timing phases

Applying

Energy builds as the planet moves toward exact contact.

Exact

Peak focus and clarity. Pay attention to choices here.

Separating

Integration phase where you digest what shifted.

Retrograde loops

Repeating passes bring review and a deeper adjustment.

Make transits practical

Use slow planets for long themes and fast planets for daily timing.
Treat challenging aspects as growth invitations, not fate.
Pick one small action and test it near the exact hit.
