We use VSOP87 ephemeris (observatory-grade precision) accurate to ±0.1°. We validate every chart against astro.com's Swiss Ephemeris. Our celebrity chart tests match within 2 arc-minutes—far more precise than needed for astrology.

Why might my Rising sign be different on other apps?

Many apps have timezone bugs that shift your Ascendant by 15-45°. We use the IANA timezone database with historical data going back decades, so charts for births before 2000 are still accurate.

Can I use it without my exact birth time?

Yes, but your Rising sign and house placements won't be accurate. The free tier works with just your birth date. For full features, check your birth certificate for the exact time.
