Minor Aspects
Subtle aspect angles that refine and nuance a chart.
Minor aspects are smaller-angle relationships between planets, such as the semi-sextile (30°), semi-square (45°), quintile (72°), sesquiquadrate (135°), and bi-quintile (144°). They tend to be subtle and are most reliable with tight orbs (about 1-2°). Minor aspects rarely override major aspects, but they add texture, skill themes, and fine-tuning.
Example
A tight quintile to Mercury can highlight a talent for words or design, even if the major aspects are quiet.
