The four building blocks of astrology: Fire, Earth, Air, and Water.
The four elements describe the fundamental nature of each sign. Fire signs (Aries, Leo, Sagittarius) are passionate and action-oriented. Earth signs (Taurus, Virgo, Capricorn) are practical and grounded. Air signs (Gemini, Libra, Aquarius) are intellectual and communicative. Water signs (Cancer, Scorpio, Pisces) are emotional and intuitive. Understanding elements helps you see patterns in your chart.
Example
Someone with many Fire placements may be naturally enthusiastic and quick to act, while someone with many Earth placements may be more methodical and security-focused.
