Fixed Star
A distant star used as a symbolic reference in astrology.
Fixed stars appear relatively stationary compared to the moving planets. In astrology, tight conjunctions to a planet or angle can add a very specific theme or flavor. They work best with small orbs (often 1° or less).

A planet tightly conjunct a fixed star can emphasize a specific talent, challenge, or reputation theme.
