Opposition
180° Aspect
Balancing act between two poles - seeking integration.
An opposition forms when planets are 180° apart (within approximately 8-10°). This aspect creates a tug-of-war between two planetary energies, like a seesaw seeking balance. The goal isn't choosing one side over the other, but integrating both. Oppositions often play out through relationships - we attract others who embody the qualities we haven't yet owned in ourselves. The Full Moon is an opposition between Sun and Moon, representing illumination and the need to balance different needs.
