South Node

Your comfort zone - familiar patterns from the past.

The South Node (also called Ketu or the Dragon's Tail) represents your default patterns, past-life gifts, and comfort zone. These are abilities that come naturally, perhaps too naturally. Over-relying on South Node traits can hold you back from growth. The goal is to use these gifts in service of your North Node journey, not as a place to hide.

Example

A South Node in Aries might default to independence and self-reliance, needing to learn that asking for help and partnership (North Node in Libra) leads to greater fulfillment.
